Hip Hop Cycle fundraiser

Written by The Alaska Club | Oct 2, 2014 7:10:00 PM

The Alaska Club is excited to announce we will host a hip hop cycle class on Monday, October 20 to raise funds for Augie’s Quest and ALS research. With the Ice Bucket Challenge bringing needed awareness to ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, The Alaska Club kicks off their October activities to support the war on ALS.

It has been The Alaska Club’s declared goal to help one of the fitness industry’s founding fathers fight ALS. Augie Nieto, co-founded Lifecycles Inc. in 1980 which he grew over the next 20 years into one of the largest commercial manufacturers of fitness equipment in the world. Tragically, Augie’s life took an unexpected turn as he was diagnosed with ALS in 2005.

The community is invited to join the Alaska Club at our Anchoarge West for an hour of hip hopping and beat pumping cycle with DJ Master Spin in order to support Augie’s Quest. Participants contribute to this fundraiser by donating $25 while enjoying an hour of hip hoppin’, beat-pumpin’ cycle. The Alaska Club gives 100% of the proceeds directly to support Augie’s Quest which was created to raise funds for research and drug development for ALS.
