Yin yoga focuses on body placement, breath, and holding postures to create gentle stress on the body’s tissues, promoting healing and joint flexibility. With only about 8 postures, the practice encourages moving to a “soft edge” and cultivating active stillness.
Yin can be more challenging than other practices due to its slow pace and long-held shapes. Props like bolsters and pillows can provide support and ease.
Join me for a calming, intentional practice that’s not the same as Restorative yoga. Wear cozy clothes and bring any props you need!
