We have the strength to pull together as a community.
The ability to push through challenging times? To pull together as a community and provide for those in need. That is why we are asking Alaskans to support our most Important asset- - our kids! In partnership with Children’s Lunchbox, we’re helping to provide hungry kids and families with meals, we will match all donations up to $10,000 to provide lunchboxes to thousands of hungry kids.
A small donation is all it takes. Will you join us?
This is a win-win for all, as it keeps our staff employed and builds strength in our community.

About The Children’s Lunchbox
The Children’s Lunchbox feeds children and supports families here in Anchorage. We offer several services year-round, in an attempt to fill gaps where children may be left void of food.
These services include administering the Weekend Food Program in three Title 1 schools, supplying eight school-based food pantries, serving several after school programs and centers during the academic year, and even more summer programs after school lets out, totaling 451,246 meals served in 2019.
Now as we face a worldwide crisis, we strive to provide that same commitment and determination to make nutritious food available to those most in need during this time. Due to ASD school closures as of March 16, 2020, The Children's Lunchbox will have three sites operating Monday, Wednesday and Fridays where children and families can access food through a drive through model in the parking lot. Locations and times are as follows:
Woodland Park Boys and Girls Club in Spenard 3:00 pm- 3:45 pm
Fairview Rec. Center 4:00 pm- 4:45 pm
Mountain View Boys and Girls Club 3:00 pm- 3:45 pm
Fred Meyer Muldoon/ Debarr 4:00-4:45pm NEW LOCATION
Each child in the car we will receive two supper meals and two snack packs.
Each family will also receive two pantry boxes which provide a shelf stable meal for a family of four.
The pantry boxes contain a breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with enough to feed a family of four (4). Individuals can arrive in person, or drive though and grab and-go their pantry boxes. Each family will receive one (1) box while supplies last and, as long as we can rely on our volunteers and community support for donations and help in packing the boxes.
