Swimming Pools
The Alaska Club’s primary objective is to build aquatic confidence through the services we provide. We strive to maintain a safe and clean environment while offering the highest level of aquatics education and customer service. Our instructors make it a priority to structure each class to meet the needs of each participant; they are ready to teach any skill level or age.
Aquatic confidence is shared by the family; no matter which family member is in the water learning. Please do not hesitate to voice questions and concerns to any Aquatics staff member. See you at the pool!
Starfish Academy offers lessons for swimmers of every age and level. New classes start every month. Members and nonmembers welcome.
Receive customized instruction for small groups and individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Swim teams for ages 9-16 focus on increasing swimming distances and the four competitive swimming strokes.

About The Gauntlet
The Gauntlet is a floating obstacle course for children ages 6+, available during special open swim hours, Family Fun Night open swim, and for rentals. Contact a Reservation Specialist at 365-7393 for more information about renting the Gauntlet for your special event.

About the South Splash Park
Kids of all ages can splash to their heart's delight with interactive water features, including blasting water cannons, misting water wheels, sprinklers, mini slides, and more!
A giant water bucket sits above the park where kids can wait underneath for a super-soaker splash.
An 18-ft tall, 140 length super slide lets riders twist, turn, and splash their way to the bottom.
There's also a two-lane warm water pool for swimming or play that's kept at a comfortable 90-92 degrees.

About Water Warrior Wednesday

• Children under 10 are not allowed to swim in the lap lanes and are only permitted in the pool
during Open Swim times. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the
water at all times, except at where a kids splash park is located (parent must remain on deck and monitor their children closely).
• Children 7-9 are permitted in the pool during open swim as long as parents remain on the deck.
• Children 10-13 years old are permitted in the pool during open swim as long as parents are in
the building (parents do not have to be in the water or on the pool deck).
• The aquatic staff has the authority to request that a child leave the pool area if the behavior or
the safety of the child is in question.
• Only The Alaska Club staff can provide swim lessons at the Club
